Room 13 Art Studio in Pame, near Pokhara, Nepal is being developed as a hub studio to serve schools and clubs in Pame and neighbouring districts of Kaski, Syangja and Tanahun.

Each of the schools and clubs has an art coordinator who runs art and creativity workshops in their respective area. They organise three workshops a month with young people from their villages, bringing all age groups together to exchange ideas and identify hidden talents.
Room 13 Pame Art Studio offers a platform for the young artists to access training, and exchange, and exhibit their work and the work of their group. The art studio offers a place for counselling, motivation and guidance for the young artists.
Room 13 Pame is financed by Shanti Griha-AGEH and run by AVATAR Nepal, Lekhnath Centre, which carries out co-ordination, monitoring, evaluation and training for the programme.

In their own words:

“At Room 13 Pame, young artists without opportunities and privileges for exploring their creativity and indentifying themselves are welcome to grow together with art and team work. Our vision and dream is that the young artists soar the sky with art, creativity, enthusiasm and peace!”
