Our latest DVD features Room 13 documentary film ‘What Age Can You Start Being an Artist? (2003) and ‘Room 13 – Where Are They Now?’ (2006).

‘Where Are They Now?’ was first shown as a series of 3 Minute Wonders on Channel 4 in March 2006 and contains footage from Room 13 studios worldwide.

Emmanuel Andre and Stephanie Wang Breal went on a trip to South Africa in December 2009, to teach photography to the children of Room 13. With them, they created UBUNTU. The result is an exhibition, a documentary and this limited edition hardback book which is being sold internationally to raise funds for Room 13 projects.

This Artists’ Book by Room 13 Hareclive offers glimpses of a Room 13 studio through the eyes of artists young and old, resident or invited.

Produced by the studio as a limited edition, the featured collection of collaborations and interactions capture the brilliance and spirit of life inside Room 13.

Photographer Emmanuel Andre visited Room 13 Sapebuso and Room 13 Mmulakgoro in South Africa, collaborating with the young artists in both studios to produce a stunning collection of photographs, beautifully presented in this hardbound volume.

This book was produced in a limited edition print run, with copies sold internationally to raise funds for Room 13 International.
