Studios
Old Ford School is a primary school in Tower Hamlets, East London, with 750 students. Their Room 13 project got underway in 2008 and in January 2009, the Room 13 Studio arrived!
Room 13 Old Ford is a cabin in the school garden. Decorated inside and out, it is a haven of colour and creativity.
Despite having one of the smallest studio spaces, the work of Room 13 Old Ford spills out into the community in a big way. They have explored drawing, painting and photography; participated in exhibitions, collaborations and community art projects; and run open studios. They raise funds by selling cards and calendars and taking on commissions.
